Boarding

All of our horses live here! Unlike many farms, we do not have satellite facilities, or subcontract with other people to care for our horses.

Lantern Hill Farm is nestled on 185 acres of gently rolling Maury-McAfee soils, land that is the birthplace and former home of two Eclipse Award winners, Dreaming of Anna and Princess Rooney.

We are located 20 minutes from Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton, Rood + Riddle Equine Hospital, Hagyard Equine Medical Institute and most major Central Kentucky breeding farms. Churchill Downs and Turfway Park are each about an hour away, via I-64 exit 65. [Click here to open a map]

• 62 stalls in 6 barns
• Spacious run-in sheds in most fields
• Covered 50’ round pen
• European-style 6-horse Equiciser
• Closed-circuit monitor for foaling mares and full-time night watch

We welcome boarding inquiries from those who plan to consign with us in the Kentucky sales, or from those who intend to leave their mares at Lantern Hill Farm year-round. Contact us for board rates and availability.
